The West has spent decades moving full steam ahead under the mantra of individualism, and few leaders have bothered to pause and ask themselves if that path is work revisiting.
Where has it gotten us, anyway? As a philosophy, individualism has evolved from spearheading reformation to now being the core force behind our society’s rebuke of God, country, and truth.
It’s fair to ask where this is leading. If civilization grows to reject all group categorization, what will we have left?
Russian philosopher Aleksandr Dugin has spent years thinking about this, and he joined Tucker for an exclusive sit-down in Moscow.
Aleksandr Dugin tells Tucker:
“The last step [of liberalism] that is not yet totally made is liberation from human identity; humanity optional… the last step in this process of liberalism, implementation of liberalism, will mean precisely the human optional. So you can choose your individual identity to be human [or] not to be human.”
